IAA is proud of its contribution to one of the largest industrial projects in Canada, the development of Muskrat Falls in Churchill River, Labrador. The lower Churchill River is one of the most attractive hydroelectric resources in North America and is a key component of Newfoundland and Labrador energy resource portfolio. The project has a combined capacity of over 3,000 megawatts (MW).
The development of Muskrat Falls will provide a clean, renewable source of electricity to meet Newfoundland and Labrador's growing energy demands by providing clean, renewable energy for future generations.
